What is it?
A double chin or fat neck is an extra layer of fat that develops beneath the chin. It may be a sign of weight gain, but it can be caused by other factors such as age. As the skin loses its elasticity, due to age, it begins to sag and creates the bulge under the chin. Genetics and posture can also be a factor in the development of a double chin.
